The depth of your belief in this philosophy is character defining.

I wonder how many people live their life, then die with very few people turning up to their funerals, memorials, or celebrations of life, because they loved people who could do nothing for them in return.

I love the Wizard of OZ, but if this quote was true, people who work in soup kitchens have hearts that are less than those of popular people.

I’m not buyin it. In fact, I love the hearts of the generous and least popular best of all.

It’s just another Capitalist lie. It would be foolish to try to feed this philosophy to me and then think I’m going to value your advice on my life strategies, because if you do, I know we’re not aiming to go to the same place.

Am I going to hell? If so, guess I’ll burn there with the freethinkers who worked quietly, without recognition, in soup kitchens.

This article is my peaceful push back in response to values that others try to push on me, so that I can hold on to my own reality, identity, and sanity.
