Joy is a central theme in my life. I claim that joy comes from within and is not something that happens to us. This may seem odd or counter-intuitive because we all have experiences that bring us joy, as if it were out there waiting for us.
These moments of joy, I contend, activate our own inner joy that is alive within us always. That’s why it can be transformative to read about joy, because these readings can activate our own inner joy to help us navigate challenges and obstacles.
