Books! Oh Books!

As much as I love books (food for my mind and just as tantalizing) these days I am unable to finish what I start.

Gone are days when I would take one up and couldn’t put it down. Maybe they have lost the charm for me or the ones being written these days are not as substantial as they once were.

My personal favorites have been:

Diary of Anne Frank — How an interesting and a beautiful mind can find life and excitement even in a dungeon, that an uninteresting one wouldn’t find even in a palace and with all the freedom.

Jane Eyre -When you are a good person at heart and walk a wrong path… you will have to pay the price before you can claim any true joy.

Monk who sold his Ferrari — How success, money, and popularity can still not make you happy but may trap your spirit into meaninglessness and the soul will not be relaxed unless it gets you out of that prison.

Alchemist — sometimes you need to go far and wide just to be able to see the treasure that laid inside you all along.
