All of a sudden, you want to resort to mob violence because you cannot take it anymore?

It is not as though you have been unaware of the prevalence of sex crimes, over centuries, across age groups and economic classes. Did you honestly think that your social support of victims makes any sort of a meaningful impact? Did you assume your past discourses about rape have brought us closer to a solution?

It is why I dejectedly conclude that nothing is going to change today. But, if tomorrow needs to be any different, we must hedge our bets on the little ones. They cannot grow up — ignorant and ashamed of the truth — like how previous generations did.

I do not care if you ‘like’ or share this post. I am not particularly interested in hearing what you have to say. I will milk some other trending issue, some other time, to promote myself as an opinionated writer. For now, I only urge you to talk to your kids about sex, love, and trust. Tell them that it is not taboo to have an open and honest conversation.

Communicate with them in a way that does not quell their hearts from accommodating your concerns.
