Vocal Leader: Okay, so these are the 15 product directions that we are chasing this month. Let it be our best month, guys! See ya!

(in a month’s time)

Vocal Leader: We have gotten nowhere! Why are we not progressing at all?

Team member: Which of the 15 product directions are you asking about?

Vocal Leader: All of them!

Team member: We’ve made progress in each direction actually.

Vocal Leader: Yeah, but we need to speed up that progress SIGNIFICANTLY!

Team member: What we need is just more focus.

Vocal Leader: You are right! I know how to fix this! We’ll hire more people!

The Vocal Leader series aims to, through the use of humour, build bridges between people who otherwise see the world in substantially different ways. Vocal Leaders are among us.
